*POSITION SUMMARY*
Powell Valley Millwork is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to assist the company Controller in payroll and accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee wages and reconciliation of general ledger.
*RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING*:
· Assist in processing of bi-weekly payroll
· Assist with month-end and year-end activities
· Work together with Human Resources to ensure accurate processing of employee benefits
· Reconciliation of benefit invoices to general ledger
· Recording and maintaining employee records
· Process 1099’s
· Process ACA 1095’s
· Other administrative duties as assigned
*QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS *
· 3+ years of payroll processing experience
· Strong understanding of payroll processing and payroll tax requirements
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP & pivot tables)
· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to maintain confidential information
· Clear written and verbal communication
· General Ledger reconciliation experience and basic knowledge
· Accounting exposure and basic knowledge
*SALARY*
Beginning at $23.
00 per hour contingent upon the depth of experience, scope of qualifications, and all related certifications.
Salary amount listed is a placeholder and may vary significantly based upon experience and interview.
