Reports to - CEO Date - 11/29/2022 *JOB DESCRIPTION* *Duties and Responsibilities* Ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with customers and suppliers via telephone, email and/or fax on a daily basis, processing orders and developing an understanding of customer needs.
This opportunity is for those with excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to maintain relationships in the competitive hardwood lumber and pallet market.
As a successful customer service representative, experience in collections, telephone sales, or other positions requiring the skills necessary to maintain business over the phone are strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required.

Provide exceptional customer service.
2.
Provide assistance and support for outside sales.
3.
Data and order entry.
4.
Receive all sales and purchase orders and input into order management software.
5.
Maintain existing customers to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
6.
Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
7.
Communicate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
8.
Plan and prioritize daily activities to achieve appropriate time frames that move orders along the supply chain/production/shipping departments to completion.
9.
Monitor and remedy any account performance notices and overall account health.
10.
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
11.
Other duties as assigned.
*COMPETENCIES* 1.
1+ years in customer service environment preferred 2.
Exceptional communication, listening and customer service skills *3.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Windows Word and Excel* 4.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively 5.
Judgement to complete task correctly and ask for support as and if needed *SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY* This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT* This position works in an office setting.
This role routinely uses office equipment such as copiers, fax machine, telephones, calculators and computers.
*PHYSICAL DEMANDS* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing the duties of the job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
The team member frequently is required to stand, walk; and stoop, kneel, bend or crouch.
The team member must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
Significant time sitting is required.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
