Epiphone Jumbo Acoustic Guitar EJ-200 Artist (Baritone)
Like New Condition.
This expertly made instrument has rarely seen any play and has remained in its hard-shell case in a climate controlled room for almost all of its life.
But it does have a great sound.
The notes sustain longer than just about any guitar that I have ever played! The action is set up for easy to moderate action.
This guitar really stands out with its bright rich tone and beautiful looks.
Select spruce top and maple back and sides.
It feels smooth and comfortable to play.
You will love the way that it sounds as a baritone guitar.
I simply strung it with heavy gauge high tension strings so that it would tune up to proper tension in a lower key.
It sounds warm and rich with amazing sustain! For example, making a C chords produces a powerful B flat pitched chord.
You could easily coax out a minor third below standard tuning and still retain adequate tension to the strings.
Also, feel free to experiment with alternative tunings.
Of course, it plays well in standard tuning as it was designed for, but with its sturdy jumbo body and unique maple woods, it doubles as a lower tuned guitar.
Includes factory hard-shell case.
