Job Summary: The Local Sales Manager for Timberline Barns in London, KY, is responsible for overseeing the operations and sales activities at a designated sales lot.
This role involves managing daily lot operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the sales lot.
The Local Sales Manager collaborates with various team members to meet sales targets, optimize inventory management, and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
* Achieving revenue targets by actively participating in sales activities, such as customer interactions, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
* Foster a customer-centric environment, ensuring high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
* Build and maintain relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information.
* Reach out to prospective customers with pre-qualified leads.
* Manage social media and create business using Facebook and Marketplace.
* Educate potential customers on purchase options including rent-to-own.
Sales Lot Operations:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales lot, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
* Manage inventory levels, including communicating inventory needs, conducting regular stock checks, and implementing effective inventory management practices.
* Collaborate with the customer service team to coordinate product deliveries and process sales orders.
Marketing and Promotions:
* Collaborate with the Regional Dealer Manager to develop and implement sales and promotional strategies to drive customer traffic and increase sales.
* Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to promote the sales lot and generate leads.
* Monitor market trends and competition, providing feedback and insights to support the development of effective marketing campaigns.
Reporting and Analysis:
* Generate regular sales reports, analyzing sales data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
* Utilize CRM systems or other sales tools to track customer interactions, manage leads, and monitor sales pipelines.
Compliance and Safety:
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
* Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees, adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (some college or business-related education preferred).
* Previous sales experience preferred.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
* Knowledge of outdoor storage buildings or related products is advantageous.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems and sales tools.
* Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office and CRM systems.
* Ability to work in an independent environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32,000.
00 - $64,000.
