is seeking a Line Technician for the McKee District.
Must be high school graduate or have G.
E.
D.
equivalent.
Must be able to report to McKee District within 30 minutes.
Requirements: 1) Minimum of 4 years on-the-job experience in electrical line distribution, construction & maintenance, including overhead and under-ground.
2) Must have successfully completed a Lineman Apprenticeship Program, or have certification from another qualified program.
3) Requires experience working after-hours service and outage problems, in trouble-shooting line faults, and equipment.
4) Must have thorough knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
5) Must have experience in determining line feeds, installation and removal/replacement of transformers, OCR's, fuses, voltage regulators capacitors, etc.
6) Must have a valid Kentucky CDL.
Normal work week is 40 hours, but will be required to work irregular hours and overtime in outage and emergency situations and to participate in the On-Call Program.
